What this FII history page shows
This page brings together recent daily FII index-options and index-futures positioning, FII and DII cash-market net activity, and NIFTY 50 close and daily percentage change. The figures are arranged by date so you can compare reported activity across the available sessions. The history updater retains about 31 calendar days of records; the exact coverage shown by the feed appears above the table.
FII options: call and put open-interest change
The Call and Put columns show the change in FII net contracts between the current date and the previous available date. Net contracts are calculated from long contracts minus short contracts separately for calls and puts. These are changes in reported positioning, not a prediction of market direction.
FII index futures: amount, open interest and direction
Net Buy/Sell is the reported buy amount minus sell amount, displayed in βΉ crore. Net OI Change compares the current net long-contract balance with the previous available date. Net Futures OI shows that balance in lakh contracts. The bullish or bearish label reflects the sign of the calculated change; it is a descriptive label, not a recommendation.
Cash-market net activity and the NIFTY 50 benchmark
FII Cash Net and DII Cash Net are each calculated as cash-market buying minus selling and are displayed in βΉ crore. The NIFTY 50 column shows the index close and its daily percentage change as market context. Cash figures are aggregate data and do not identify individual stock trades.
How to use these figures
Compare multiple dates and read each measure in its own context. Options positioning, futures exposure, cash activity and index movement describe different parts of the market and can move in different directions. The figures are historical and should not be used alone to make an investment or trading decision. For daily cash activity, see the FII/DII cash-market page; for the site's derivatives summary, see F&O activity.

What does OI change mean in this table?
It is the difference in the net contract balance between two available dates, based on the fields described above. A change in this table is not the same as total exchange-wide open interest.
Does this page show live intraday positioning?
